Liberty's commitment to helping clients achieve their goals shines through in their successful partnership with a local university's Community Information Campaign. By leveraging a multifaceted approach, including EDDM postcards, data lists, and in-house design and printing, Liberty played a pivotal role in securing a resounding 62% approval for a $180 million referendum, demonstrating the power of their 'One team. One roof' experience and dedication to quality, professionalism, and service.

Here at Liberty, we love helping our clients achieve their goals! No project is too big or too small—we’ll find the right solutions to fit your needs. Want to know how? Here’s one of our many success stories!

Liberty partnered with a local university to assist them with their Community Information Campaign initiative. The goal of the campaign was to communicate to the surrounding community a referendum to raise $180 million for three major initiatives:

Priority 1: Drive Economic Opportunity in the Community
Priority 2: Educate for Today’s High-Tech Jobs
Priority 3: Maintain and Improve Campus Infrastructure

After meeting with the university it was clear we needed to create a plan to engage and garner support from their audience. We knew it would be best to send multiple Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) postcards targeting specific communities surrounding this institution. In addition to the contacts the university possessed, we thought it would be beneficial to purchase data lists of residents living in Cook, Kane, Lake and McHenry counties to expand their reach even further. Our in-house design department created three EEDM postcards, along with posters and table-top signs to display throughout the community. In addition to design, we printed and mailed all components in this campaign.

As a result of Liberty’s teamwork with the university, voters approved the referendum! The community’s investment of $180 million toward capital improvements helped position the institution’s students and the community for a strong future. The measure – which did not raise taxes – now supports a community-driven plan that spurs economic opportunity, educates for today’s high-tech jobs, and maintains and improves campus infrastructure.

The university was pleased with the results of the campaign. Mike B., the Marketing Director, said “Thank you Liberty for your hard work and dedication on the institution’s community information campaign. Your team’s ability to provide data lists, design, print and mail services helped our institution tell its story and succeed at the ballot box with our measure passing 62%-38%. Liberty truly provides the “One team. One roof” experience. I always appreciate the quality, professionalism and service of the Liberty team.”
